Mark and Brian did great work at our home. We already had a radon mitigation system but the contractor hired by the previous owner did not mitigate radon coming in through the family room slab. Thank you for returning to make changes to the route of the basement PVC pipe and for correcting the sump cover installation. Radon levels prior to system installation were 7.0 pCi/L in the basement. Now we have received a test report showing 0.9 pCi/L. I just wanted to “thank you” for sending Mark and Brian back out to make the changes to the route of the basement PVC pipe.  They were also able to correct the sump cover installation so it doesn’t reverberate and create as much noise when the pump runs.  The fan is located in the attic just above the crib in the boy’s room yet we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it is, we can barely hear it running.  For a month prior to installation of the system, I had tested the radon levels in the basement using the “Safety Siren Pro 3 Radon Gas Detector” and consistently recorded a long term measurement in the range of 6.7-7.0 pCi/L.   A week after installation of the system, I reset the digital monitor and now have a measurement of 0.9 pCi/L.  I also used the radon test kit you provided and just received the results, also at 0.9 pCi/L.   (job installed 1/23/12 – Bartram Lane, Quakertown, PA Bucks County – radon reduced from 6.8 to 0.9 pCi/L) [285]
